    • Appreciate the feedback. Was a big topic to cover though, we thought it best to cover it in a one shot. Will bear the feedback in mind for the next one.

  1. Initial observations / feedback:

I like the style and not having yet listened to ep1 can’t evaluate the difference sans swearing (not that it’d bother me).

I was listening while walking the dog and suddenly nearly an hour had gone. This is good and bad, as I haven’t got to the end (but will).

I expect I’ll end up listening again though as I’m a vociferous note taker and a lot of the information albeit in a chatty format, was invaluable. Walking the dog is not easy to take notes, or dictate as I’m listening on the device I dictate on…

I need to check what year the 450g of Galaxy in my freezer is. If 2016 I’ll be the next eBay millionaire.

Technically: Well produced, good audio and streamed mostly without issue. I’d like to be able to just download the whole file to listen to when I’m in an area where I can’t use data – this may already be possible, I haven’t looked.

    Overall, I like it.

    Hope that helps.

    • Two replies to my own post:

      1. Download file DOES work on my PC apparently, but not on my phone.

      2. Samsung auto fill is responsible for adding my “Dr” to the name. I am not able to prescribe beer.

      3. There is no 3…

      • Nice one Martyn, glad you’re enjoying the podcast. Stay tuned because the next couple of episodes should be right up your strasse…

  2. I also listened to this podcast whilst walking the dog. Having spoken to Richard last evening I put the question to him and he unfortunately couldn’t give an answer so I’ll put it here…
“Who works out the AA’s of hops and how is it done?”

    • There are companies out there who measure the AA content of hops. If anyone reads this who has a job going, given my background I’d happily sign up and help!

I believe some of the big hop suppliers also measure the content themselves as they have the facility on site during the packaging, so people like Yakima probably do their own and Farams too most likely…

  3. I love you podcasts,.

I am pretty confident in saying that THC, THD, Canabidiol and friends are cannabinoids, but not terpenes. Cannabis also contains a range of terpenes: α-pinene, β-pinene, β-myrcene, limonene, terpinolene, linalool, α-terpineol, β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, and caryophyllene in addition to cannabinoids. I looked up the terpene list, I am not an expert.

Anyway, thanks for the podcasts, they’re very entertaining.

    • Thats a shoutout on the next one, we need this sort of information. I’ll look into it more, but from the reading you’re probably right. Remember we’re 2 blokes in sheds and do occasionally get things wrong. Glad you’re enjoying the podcast, wait til EP4, its a doozy!
